MANU LAUDE
Manu Laude is the director, principle choreographer and headline performer of Manu Laude Company (MLC) which he created in 2007 and is based in London, Britain.
With a professional career spanning more than a decade, Manu Laude has toured the world - as a solo artist and company performer - to bring audiences his unique multi-talented style of entertainment which fuses modern, contemporary, street and hip hop dance with object manipulation and acrobatics.
In recent years, Manu has been recognised as a rising star in choreography and artistic direction (Berlin's 2008 sell-out Orpheus & Eurydike Opera) whilst continuing to perform globally as a dancer, musician, juggler and model for Variety and theatre shows, operas, tennis tournaments, football stadiums, live music concerts, commercials, fashion shows and corporate events.
Born in France, Manu has performed since he was five years old after being introduced to the arts by his mother, Danielle Laude, a modern dance choreographer. As a teenager, Manu mastered various dance styles and circus skills with a specialisation in juggling. In 1999, Manu moved his professional career to London, and ever since his highlight performances include Wembley Stadium, O2 Arena, Stade de France, The Royal Albert Hall, Barbican Centre, Circus Space, English National Ballet, Glastonbury Festival, E4 Udderbelly, Wintergarten, TOCC Berlin, Dubai's Mall Of The Emirates, The Leicester Square Theatre, Doha Tribeca Film Festival, BBC, Microsoft, Land Rover, Smirnoff Ice, Unilever, Sonique, Prince Charles and The Queen of England to name but a few.
